Annaba is a city in the northeastern corner of Algeria near the Seybouse River, located in Annaba Province. With a population of over 260 000, it's the fourth largest city in Algeria. It's a leading industrial center in eastern Algeria. Most of the people call this city Balad Al Unnâb (the Jujubes city), because of the abundance of this fruit in the area.
